Belinda is the red-hot favourite to be evicted from Big Brother on Friday night, according to the bookies.

The 44-year-old amateur actress – who has been keeping all the housemates awake with her snoring – has seen her odds fall from 1/25 to 1/50, according to Ladbrokes.

Fellow nominee Rex would be feeling much more comfortable if he could see the odds, which are hugely stacked in his favour: he is 10/1 to go.

Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg said: “Belinda’s stay in the house is all but over if the weight of money is to be believed.”

Cookie monster Kathreya is still the bookies’ favourite to win the show with odds of 2/1.

But being head of house has not gone well for Darnell. He may have been elected to the position by his fellow housemates but his decisions and actions have let them down and his popularity has fallen. And it’s dwindling outside the house too, with his odds of winning the show being pushed out to 11/2, from 10/3.

Nick said: “Power appears to have corrupted Darnell and it’s proving a turn-off for punters.”

Tune in for the eviction results at 9pm, Friday, on Channel 4.
