The Big Brother eviction on Friday night has been cancelled.

On Wednesday afternoon, Big Brother told the housemates: “Due to Caoimhe’s departure and Keeley’s absence from the house this week’s nominations have become null and void and this week’s eviction has been cancelled.”

Corin, Keeley and Rachel were the three housemates up for the chop.

Keeley is being treated in hospital after hurting her ankle while taking part in the ‘Save & Replace’ task on Tuesday evening, which was cancelled as a result.

Caoimhe had walked out of the house earlier that day, saying she missed her boyfriend.

Corin and Rachel were overwhelmed by the news that they would both get to stay in the house for at least another week.

As everyone cheered, a delighted Rachel asked repeatedly: ‘Does that mean I’m staying?’.

Friday’s 9pm and 10.30pm live shows will go ahead as planned and will feature Davina’s interview with Caoimhe, the results of this week’s shopping task – including a special performance by some of the housemates – plus, all the action from the last 24 hours in the house.
