Bex looked resigned to her fate as her name was announced, nodding then smiling – but Luke did not take the news quite so well, looking stony-faced as he learned of her nomination.
Mario, meanwhile, reacted calmly to the news of his third nomination, smiling and shaking Rebecca’s hand – while other housemates remained convinced another name would be announced, and looked shocked when it wasn’t.
Afterwards, Bex told the others that she was convinced her time in the house was up.
“I know who’s nominated me, and I think I’m going,” she said. “It’s the pattern.”
Mario, on the other hand, was more philosophical when attempting to work out who nominated him.
Six like me, six dislike me,” he told Bex, “If it went 50-50. It probably wasn’t 50-50, I’d probably say it was 40-40.”
“Four don’t like you, four don’t like me. Or seven don’t like me, five don’t like you. Having said that, it coulda been a mass vote.”
Lisa, meanwhile, appeared relaxed after the nominations were announced – despite the possibility of being left alone in the house come Friday.
“I’m fine,” she told the others, “I’m just so used to it now. It’s the third time Mario’s been up.”
And according to the bookmakers, he may finally get his marching orders this time. According to early odds from Skybet, Mario is 8/13 to be booted from the house on Friday while Rebecca is 6/5.
