Big Brother is to hold an all-star finale immediately after the winner of this year’s show is crowned, they have revealed.
The two-week series will round off the hit show before it disappears from Channel 4 forever and will feature popular contestants from series gone by.
This year’s victor – who will have already survived 11 weeks – will instantly be joined by past faces in the house for the as-yet-unnamed extra series.
The winner will be unaware of the plan and the first they will learn of the bonus show will be when presenter Davina McCall tells them to stay put as the main series ends.
A show spokeswoman said: “Big Brother always loves to spring surprises.”
Show bosses are now starting to contact previous stars, including winners and popular characters.
The main winner will still be given the cash prize for their stint on Big Brother 11.
Contestants for the latest series are due to enter the house tonight (Wednesday) with live coverage on Channel 4 from 9pm.
