Messages of support have been flooding in for Jade Goody from around the world ahead of her wedding, according to her spokesman Max Clifford.
The veteran publicist said that the messages – from such far-flung corners as Australia and the US – had helped to boost the former Big Brother star’s spirits.
“That has genuinely been a real lift for her,” he said.
Jade – who was told by doctors last week that her cervical cancer is terminal – is making last-minute preparations for her wedding to fiance Jack Tweed on Sunday.
“Everyone is urging her to conserve her energy for the big day,” Clifford said, “but there are still so many things to be finalised and arranged because the whole wedding has been put together in a matter of days.
The wedding has been wonderful because it has given her something happy to concentrate on and think about, something positive and of course, you know, that in itself has given her a huge lift.
Sunday is her day, she’s planned it, she knows exactly what she wants and everybody else is trying to make sure she gets close to that. I think everybody is just hoping and praying she’s going to be well enough to enjoy her day.”
Jade had an unofficial hen night at her home in Upshire, Essex, on Friday night, while Jack shared a low-key stag night with friends.
And the 27-year-old shared a joke with photographers about her hair loss on Saturday morning, when she left her home with four female friends – all wearing fake bald heads and similar tracksuits.
The quartet posed for pictures, but Jade remained tight-lipped about the wedding plans, saying she could “give nothing away”.
She also underwent teeth whitening treatment at a central London clinic on Saturday ahead of her big day.
