Cancer-stricken Jade Goody will now spend her wedding night with Jack Tweed after the Justice Secretary changed her fiance’s bail curfew.

Jade, who has just weeks to live, was devastated to learn officials had refused to lift Jack’s bail conditions for one night, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

But Justice Secretary Jack Straw has today stepped in and suspended the rule for what he called ‘an exceptional case’.

Jade’s publicist Max Clifford said this will give her the ‘dream finish to her dream day’.

A Ministry of Justice spokesman is reported to have said: “Jack Straw has enormous sympathy for Jade and her family. She is showing extraordinary courage and our thoughts are with her.”

“The NOMS (National Offender Management Service) chief operating officer, in discussion with the governor of the prison, has determined that this is an exceptional case and Mr Tweed will be allowed to remain at the reception and that address until 3pm the day after the wedding.”

Former Big Brother star Jade is said to be overjoyed about spending the day at home making preparations for the wedding, which is earning her an estimated million pounds in broadcast and magazine rights.

The wedding will be shown on Living TV as the last episode in the reality series, which has followed Jade through her illness.
