Jade Goody pleaded with doctors to help her die after being told her cancer was terminal.

Newly-wed Jade revealed she begged for a pill or lethal injection to put a stop to her suffering so her two sons could ‘get on with their lives’.

The former Big Brother star told OK! magazine her immediate reaction to the devastating diagnosis was to ‘just give up’.

“I said to my doctors, ‘I just want to go now, just give me an injection or a tablet. Let me go and let my kids get on with their lives’,” she said.

She also told the magazine she would use a book on bereavement about a dying badger to prepare her sons for her death and is making preparations for full custody to go to the boys’ father, Jeff Brazier.

The 27-year-old married her fiance Jack Tweed in a lavish, star-studded ceremony on Sunday.

Jade, whose cervical cancer has spread to her liver, groin and bowel and has been given just weeks to live, told OK! she was ‘ready to go to heaven’ after tying the knot.

She sold the picture and TV rights to the ceremony for nearly £1 million, and has been open about wanting to exploit media interest in her story to make as much money as possible for her sons Bobby, five, and Freddie, four.

The Living TV documentary series, called simply Jade, has followed her battle with cancer from the moment she was told by doctors while appearing on the Indian version of Big Brother up until her wedding ceremony.
