BB’s best bits

big brother final five
What are we going to do with our evenings now? After three months of tears and tantrums we may have to go out and find a social life now Big Brother is finally coming to an end.

As the housemates enjoy their final day, the bookies start counting their takings and Davina gets ready to announce the winner we take a look at the best bits…

Who could forget Mikey eating the hottest chilli in the world? A classic Big Brother moment that should be worth £100,000 on its own. Take a look…

If a good fight night is more your style then they don’t come much more intense than Spitgate. Oh, Dennis, you stupid, stupid boy… see for yourself below:

Or, for some shocking footage (see what we did there!), the electric shock task is a must, even if just to see them in those ridiculous outifts…

Finally, we can all be enticed by a bit of romance. Whether it is Bex and Luke - the weirdest BB couple ever, Jen and Dale - pretty good looking pairing, or the cringeworthy canoodling of Sara and Darnell. But the best of the bunch has to be Mario returning to the house to claim Lisa as his wife. Have a look and get the hankies ready…

And then there were 5….

big brother final five
It’s been 91 days, 21 housemates and 4162 cups of tea… OK, we made the last one up but it has been a long time since Big Brother 9 began. Now, with less than 48 hours left, we’re officially down to the final five.

When Big Brother gathered the housemates to reveal the happy news they were sure there was something bad to come. “It’s an eviction,” said Sara. “Let’s do it again,” said Rex. But there were hugs and cheers all round when the announcement came: “Big Brother would like to congratulate all of you and wish you luck for Friday’s final.”

So who can grab the 100 grand prize? Below is something to help you decide…

The housemates seem more confused than ever about their chances after getting to watch a BB episode. They were shocked at how different Kat seemed on screen. “She didn’t look sweet or charming or happy. She looked evil!” said Rex.

Darnell nodded: “I thought the same thing. It was weird! She didn’t even have the same face dude.” So has that made them worry that the public aren’t seeing their true sparkling personalities? Going into the final day, the odds are on for Mikey to win, closely followed by Rachel.

But we all know what a difference a day makes…

Not so ‘hirarious’ now

kathreya leaves
If Big Brother’s plan was to leave the housemates in shock and confusion (which it obviously was) then somebody should be awarded a gold star. The news that Mo was being given the boot sent shockwaves through the house which reached seismic levels when Kat was given an unceremonious eviction 20 minutes later.

Kat was clearly not expecting it to be her. “Please no, please don’t take any more of my friends, please,” she whined when Davina came on. Don’t worry love, she’s not going to… “Please no Big Brother, no!” Rachel echoed when the result was announced. Watch the emotional moment below:

Amid sobbing and proclamations of love it seemed unlikely they would ever get Kat out, let alone get a coherent word out of her but she finally waved goodbye to the ‘happy, happy house’. “Sometimes you can love me, Sometimes you can hate me,” she told Davina when she finally faced the crowds. It seems the public agree. She was the favourite to win for a long time but they are a fickle bunch.

Oh well, that’s the way the cookie crumbles!

Has the cookie crumbled?

They’re friends, they’re not, they’re fighting, they’re… does this sound familiar? It’s not only his love life that is unpredictable, it seems Darnell’s friendships are just as rocky. At some point you’ve got to start thinking, maybe it’s you! Though, in his defence, would you be able to out up with Kat’s tiresome whining? That’s if you can actually understand what she’s saying between the ranting and the blubbing. Here, have go…

“Every week you’re just down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down about other people,” she whined. Seems like she thinks you’re down on her Darnell. Oh, wait, she hasn’t finished… “Why you hate me so much?” To which Darnell screamed: “I don’t hate you,” before storming off to the diary room.

Of course, if they are both evicted tonight then that would solve all the heartache wouldn’t it. But then there would be no more canoodling with Sara. But that might not be such a bad thing. A nice, cringe-free, fight-free final few days where everybody is one big happy family…

Hmm, what do you think the chances are?!

The saga of Sara and Darnell

darnell sara pool

They’re friends, they’re not. They hate each other, they don’t. They’re flirting… OK, that one seems to be a constant. But aren’t you finding it a bit difficult to keep up with the love tryst between Sara and Darnell?

She celebrated being saved from eviction on Friday night by a bit of full on flirting with her on/off, love/hate housemate in the pool. Watch their frolics below…

“Bad, bad boy,” Sara seductively breathed at Darnell when Big Brother told them off for making too much noise. The following day Darnell took full advantage of the ‘go ahead’ signals by sidling up behind Sara as she cut carrots for the serving task.

The other housemates seem just as confused by their antics. “It was rather surprising watching Darnell and Sara get close last night,” Rex pondered in the Diary Room. “I feel that they have done this before and then they fell out, and now they’re doing it again. Sara and Darnell are both a bit complicated.”

Yes, that’s for sure, but they better hurry up as they’ve only got days left to get it on and with a double eviction scheduled for tomorrow night, their time might soon be up.

Not-so-greedy Mo?

mohamed fails
As a way of redeeming himself after causing the housemates to fail the Las Vegas shopping task, Big Brother told Mohamed he could win booze and Las Vegas showtunes for his housemates by eating a typical ‘all-you-can-eat’ buffet. But there was a catch: Mohamed had to eat it all.

After assessing the display of burgers, fried chicken and chips, donuts, milkshakes and cola before him, Mohamed decided to tuck right in. Well, he’s not called Greedy Mo for nothing! But alas, even human dustbin Mo only managed to eat his way through half the feast before he started feeling rather poorly.

“Big Brother thinks your eyes were bigger than your belly,” Big Brother teased before enquiring: “How do you feel?” Mohamed simply replied: “Sick.”

Mmm… you made us feel a bit queasy too Mo, but for making us laugh, we salute you!

Watch his efforts below…

Dear, dear, Darnell

darnell and sara

Poor Darnell. He’s been living in the Big Brother house for almost 12 weeks and has, by and large, coped fairly well. But with just over a week to go to the Grand Finale of Big Brother 9, the wannabe rapper appears to be well and truly losing the plot. Here’s the evidence:

He’s fallen out with Big Brother: Darnell was none too impressed by his ‘gift’ of own personal mp3 player. “It kinda sucks dude. The best thing about music is sharing it with people,” he grumbled. Watch it again below…

He’s fallen out with Sara: Darnell and Sara haven’t seen eye to eye since she started ‘bed-hopping’ between him and sexy Stuart. But their relationship hit a new low the other night when he told her: “I think you’re a cool person, but you’re an ugly b****.” Why not say what you mean, Darnell!

He’s fallen out with Kathreya: Darnell even managed to make ‘happy, happy’ Kat cry when he snapped at her for saying that her friendship and loyalty had got Head of House Mo to the final. “Shut up Kat. It’s not about you every time. It takes more that you to get him to the final.” Needless to say, Kat wasn’t happy, happy anymore. Watch Sara and Kat suffering from Darnell’s torment below…

And he’s fallen out with himself: Fed up with being angry all the time, Darnell had threatened to walk out of the Big Brother house. “There’s obviously something wrong with me, I’m never happy. I’m so angry, I’m so bitter. I can’t deal with seeing everyone happy in the house,” he said.

Darnell has since decided to tough it out. But he may soon be wishing he’d been a bit nicer, as it’s been revealed that all of the housemates must nominate face-to-face on Wednesday night. The two housemates with the fewest votes will then compete in a game of Jeopardy for £50,000.

And you were feeling the pressure before, Darnell?
