Alesha Dixon has admitted she has not spoken to the Strictly Come Dancing judges since she quit the show earlier this year to join Britain’s Got Talent.
Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine the 33-year-old singer also revealed that she had not heard from Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood or Len Goodman either since making the move.
“I haven’t spoken to the other judges,” she told the magazine. “People have this presumption that when you’re on these shows everyone’s best friends, but that’s not the case.
“You get on well with your work associates but that’s it.”
Darcey Bussell was recently announced as Alesha’s replacement on the show, and will join the judging panel when Strictly returns in the autumn.
Meanwhile Alesha also put paid to rumours that all had not been well between her and Amanda Holden, following reports that Amanda had complained about the amount of screen time she was getting on the show compared to her.
“She’s been wonderful,” Alesha insisted, “She’s opened her arms up to me.
“I’m not threatened by her and she’s not threatened by me.”
