Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson is set to make his West End debut in hip-hop musical Into The Hoods.

The 14-year-old breakdancer, who wowed audiences with his raindance to Singin’ In The Rain on the hit ITV1 talent show, will play one of the lead characters – one of the children who gets lost in the ‘hood’.

George will join the cast on August 4 for a limited four-week run of the show, at the Novello Theatre in London’s Aldwych.

Having completed the hugely successful sell-out Britain’s Got Talent UK, the schoolboy is going straight into rehearsals for Into The Hoods.

A jubilant George said: “This year is getting better and better – Into The Hoods show is funky and young and I love the music in it I cant wait to get dancing on that stage!”

Featuring music from Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Black Eyed Peas, Into The Hoods recently announced its extended run with dates available until August 30.
