Lager-brewing giant Carlsberg apparently wants to sign Britain’s Got Talent pooch Gin to front a multi-million pound ad campaign.

The talented border collie impressed Simon Cowell and his fellow judges on the hit ITV1 show earlier this year with her amazing dancing skills.

And now Carlsberg – famous for its “probably the best… slogan – has a tempting offer in mind for Gin’s owner and trainer 16-year-old Kate Nicholas.

A source close to Kate, from Whitchurch, Shrops, said: “It is very exciting.

“This is like a dream come true for Kate. She wanted to get Gin into showbiz and a campaign like this could help them hit the big-time.

“She is planning to put the money towards opening a dog training academy of her own. It’s her dream.”

Carlsberg bosses have a variety of marketing concepts lined up for Gin – including training her to pull a pint.

An advertising source revealed: “There are a series of ideas – not least Gin having the best kennel in the world or the best dog’s night out. Carlsberg have contacted Kate and her family and they are now in talks.”

Britain’s Got Talent’s Mr Nasty loved Gin so much that he tipped her as ‘red-hot favourite’ to win the competition – but breakdancer George Sampson scooped the title on May 31.
