Some of Celebrity Big Brother's most controversial housemates are making a comeback as bosses plan an All-Star series to celebrate the show's 20th anniversary next summer.

It’s already seen more than its fair share of controversy over the years, but next year’s Celebrity Big Brother is promised to be the most explosive yet.

To mark the show’s 20th anniversary, it’s rumoured that Big Brother bosses are planning an All-Star series next summer, featuring the show’s most entertaining stars to date.

“Bringing back the celebs they know will cause the drama would result in the most explosive series so far,” a CBB source told The Sun.

“Usually celebrity housemates brag about how controversial and confrontational they’ll be while being screened by producers before going in, but then nothing happens.

“This way they’ll be no dull moments as they know who’ll be worth their fee.”

Among those suspected to be returning to the house are Perez Hilton, Katie Hopkins, Charlotte Crosby, Denise Welch and Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Perez Hilton, Spencer Pratt and Rylan Clark-Neal further fuelled speculation with a spat on Twitter just hours after the plans were leaked.

Spencer said he’d be willing to take part, as long as the show wasn’t rigged in Rylan’s favour. “Oooohhhh bring it on. Ding ding @spencerpratt round 2,” Rylan replied, before Perez Hilton waded into the row.

The All-Star series is planned for next summer, after the 19th series airs in January.

“It’ll be the perfect celebration of how far the show has come,” adds The Sun’s CBB source.

“The series is aiming to bring together the most memorable celebrity housemates from over the past 15 years.

“It’s all top secret right now.

“Bosses have drawn up a list of their dream housemates and are currently approaching them with big money deals to sign them up for next year.”

The first Celebrity Big Brother aired in 2001, and was won by Jack Dee.

Celebrity Big Brother is currently showing nightly on Channel 5.
