Fans of Coronation Street can bid for a guided tour of the famous cobbles with Ken Barlow, in a charity auction.
Viewers of the much-loved ITV soap can log onto www.buyoncegivetwice.co.uk to win a personal trip around the set of Weatherfield.
Actor William Roach, who plays Ken, will guide the lucky highest bidder around Coronation Street.
They can buy a paper from The Kabin, have a cuppa at Roy’s Rolls and even grab a pint with Ken in The Rovers. Schedules permitting, they could also get a chance to meet other members of the cast and watch some filming.
Mia Woodford, founder of Buy Once Give Twice, said: “As an avid fan of Corrie myself, I think this is a fantastic opportunity! Not only will the winning bidder get to visit the set and meet their favourite soap stars; with the lovely Ken Barlow as their personal tour guide, they are guaranteed some fantastic anecdotes about the sets and the memorable scenes that have played out there.
“We’re also very happy to have a chance to raise funds for the charity, TIME4WOMEN, which runs a wide range of programs that support women suffering from emotional or physical abuse, Aids, cancer or infertility. We encourage all the Corrie fans out there to get bidding!”
Buy Once Give Twice, resells lots which have been won and gone unclaimed after charity auctions, giving the charity a second chance to raise funds from the lot.
