Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan reveals that the dramatic events will make her character Rosie even more badly behaved.

Helen, 18, plays the scheming teenager Rosie Webster, who revealed Carla and Liam’s affair to Tony in a fit of jealousy when she showed him a recording on her mobile phone.

“The video clip destroyed everything. And in a way Rosie is guilty of Liam’s murder,” Helen told the Daily Mirror.

“To be entwined in the two biggest storylines at the same time is brilliant. It’s mind-boggling the trouble Rosie’s got herself into.”

In tonight’s (Monday) two episodes, it’s revealed that Rosie has been kidnapped by her former teacher boyfriend, John Stape. But Helen is convinced that Rosie will not be changed by the dramatic storyline.

“Anyone else wouldn’t be able to deal with it. But because Rosie is such a bitch, she can handle it,” she added. “Is it going to change Rosie? No way! It’s going to make her even worse. I think she is going to get twice as bitchy. I’d hate it if they ever tried to tone her down.”

Coronation Street airs at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
