Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has revealed she wants Helen Flanagan to come back to the cobbles.

The 23-year-old actress played Sally’s character Sally Webster’s oldest daughter Rosie, a feisty young woman who left Coronation Street last year to pursue her dream of becoming a famous model and reality TV star.

Since her departure, Helen has taken part in reality TV shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and is said to be in talks to star in her own show.

Sally told ITV morning show Daybreak: “I’d love Helen (Flanagan) to come back because Rosie is such a fantastic character and I do miss that dimension in the Websters because she was such fun.”

Meanwhile, Sally has started dating Faye Windass’s biological dad Tim Metcalfe, played by Joe Duttine.

The actress said: “He is a bit of a commitment-phobe so I’m not sure, but he’s nice and Sally really likes him and she’s trying to change him, manipulate him into what she wants, but he’s not having it. He wants to go off down the pub and doesn’t want to spend romantic weekends with her.

“He’s a real bloke… She’s desperate now actually, she’d do anything to get him to commit to her.”
