Some 34 years after The Naked Civil Servant, John Hurt reprises his critically acclaimed role as flamboyant gay icon Quentin Crisp in An Englishman in New York. The one-off drama follows Crisp as he moves from London to New York in his 70s and makes an immediate splash in the Big Apple. Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon is back on Manhattan’s streets as Crisp’s performance artist friend, Penny Arcade.
