This series uncovers four of the most complex, intriguing and shocking con men stories in recent history and reveals the truth behind the intricate web of lies, exposing exactly why con men con, and how they get away with it…

From the man who convinced his family, friends and community that he was dying of cancer to extort money from them to the man who has adopted over 24 identities over the last 25 years (from doctors to lawyers, playboys to ballet dancers) in order to quench his appetite for money, glamour and women, in addition to the man who re-enacted Frederick Forsythe's The Day Of The Jackal to avoid justice and the men who executed the largest art scam of the 20th Century.

Each case file takes the viewer on a jeopardy filled, fascinating and shocking journey into the lives, crimes and minds of the most notorious and intriguing criminal: the con artist.
