The seven male contestants in Dancing On Ice 2010 are set to make their competitive skating debut on Sunday night.

Last weekend saw the female celebrity skaters competing in the first show of the series, with pop star Sinitta becoming the first person to be voted off.

Among those taking to the ice on Sunday night will be Bill star Gary Lucy, Holby City actor Jeremy Sheffield and Boyzone singer Mikey Graham.

Funnyman Bobby Davro, TV medic Dr Hilary Jones, Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson and Coronation Street star Danny Young complete the line-up for the men.

Davro is the favourite to be eliminated on Sunday’s show while bookies have made Lucy second favourite to win the series behind Emmerdale’s Hayley Tamaddon, following her impressive performance last Sunday.

Meanwhile Boyzone star Graham has said he wants to do well in the series for his late bandmate Stephen Gately, who was a contestant on the 2007 series of the show.

“Hopefully he’ll be looking down on me and I can do him proud,” Graham told the Sunday Mirror. “I just want to get as far as I possibly can.”

And he had fond recollections of Gately’s performances on the show.

I used to laugh every week because, poor Stephen, he wasn’t the tallest guy in the world and he did struggle with his skating,” Graham recalled. “I think he used to dread going out on to the ice and you could see the torment in his face.”

“But of course he was always smiling and he had a lot of fun.”

The show kicks off at 6.45pm on ITV1.
