Natalie Pinkham has become the second casualty of the latest series of Dancing On Ice, after losing out to Tim Vincent in the skate-off.
The TV presenter found herself in the bottom two after she and partner Andre Lipanov performed a routine to Leona Lewis’ chart-topper Bleeding Love.
Ultimately, however, she narrowly lost out to Tim, after the judges voted to save him and skating partner Victoria Borzenkova by three votes to two.
“I’ve honestly had the best time, it’s been really lovely,” Natalie told Philip Schofield. “I know everyone says it but really it’s true. It’s been amazing.”
The 30-year-old was praised by Jayne Torvill, who said Natalie had “had a difficult week” – but the judges weren’t so kind.
“What we want to see is improvement,” said Jason Gardner, “but a lot of things are disappointing me at this point in the competition. Everything that you do with Andre looks as though someone’s Velcro-ed you on to him, there’s no emotional energy.”
Elsewhere in the competition, there was a shock for show opener Linda Lusardi when judge Nicky Slater appeared to have given her routine top marks of 6.0.
However he swiftly pointed out there was a mistake on the scoreboard, and he had only intended to give her 3.5 points – much to her disappointment.
“That’s what it says!” the Emmerdale actress joked. “I’m keeping it!”
Ten celebrities, including Suzanne Shaw, Gareth Gates, Greg Rusedski and Aggie Mackenzie, now remain in the competition.
