Ashes to Ashes special planned for Sport Relief
02/02/2010 - 12:00

Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes star Philip Glenister is set to swap his trusty Quattro for a golf cart - as part of BBC1's Sport Relief night of TV on Friday March 19.
In an Ashes to Ashes special, Gene Hunt and DCI Alex Drake (Keeley Hawes) attempt to retrieve a stolen trophy and the prime suspects are sporting and entertainment legends from the 80s.
The ultimate challenge for the public is also set to take place on Sunday March 21 with the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile.
Participants can set their own challenge by having the choice of running one, three or six miles and can sign up for their nearest mile on the Sport Relief website.
The third series of Ashes to Ashes starts later this spring.
