Parky gets a grilling from Gene Hunt
18/03/2010 - 11:45

Michael Parkinson finds the tables turned when he is the one under interrogation for a spoof edition of BBC One's Ashes To Ashes.
The national treasure is making a guest appearance in the one-off episode for Sport Relief on Friday night in which he is given a grilling by straight-talking telly cop Gene Hunt.
The show sees the former chat show host helping police with their inquiries in 1983 as they try to solve the case of the missing Ryder Cup.
Bruiser DCI Hunt (Philip Glenister) and sidekick DI Alex Drake (Keeley Hawes) are brought in to crack the case, and soon put the spotlight on Parky.
Other names from sport and entertainment involved in the Ashes To Ashes special include Daley Thompson, Frank Bruno, Steve Cram, Duncan Goodhew and David Gower.
