After two series of Life on Mars, and three of Ashes to Ashes, everything is going to be revealed in this grand finale. Gene’s claimed that he helped Sam Tyler fake his own death, but with Keats egging her on, Alex pursues her theory that he really murdered his old colleague. The team are investigating a diamond smuggling ring, but this is only a side show to what’s going on between Gene and Alex. They both end up in a field where the body of the dead policeman who's been visiting...
