Casualty fans vote train crash best ep

Casualty's devastating train crash episode from 2003 has been voted the most popular episode in the BBC medical drama's 25-year history.
To celebrate the show's 25th birthday on Tuesday, Casualty asked fans to vote for their favourite episode from a shortlist of 10 classic episode on the Casualty website.
The train crash episode, The End of the Line, was a clear winner with 18.5 per cent of the votes.
Ruth Winters' (Georgia Taylor) suicide attempt in Before a Fall was runner up with 14.5 per cent of Casualty fans choosing it as their favourite while Brenda Fricker's moving comeback episode, Nice and Easy Does It, took third place with 12.4 per cent of viewer votes.
Series producer Nikki Wilson said: "We're delighted that so many Casualty fans visited the website to revisit their favourite moments of the last 25 years. With the series still in great health on its 25th Birthday we hope we can keep producing memorable medical moments for many more years to come!"
