Joe Absolom to star in online crime series
 

Doc Martin star Joe Absolom is set to appear in a six part online crime series written by Torchwood, Doctor Who and Spooks writer James Moran.

The actor will be joined by another Eastenders star Tracey-Ann Oberman in Girl Number 9, the BBC has reported.

James Moran will also direct some of the episodes of the series about a murderer who is arrested for killing seven girls.

The drama – which starts online on the Girl Number 9 website next month – will be made up of six five-minute episodes.
