Day of the Moon

Saturday, 30 April 2011 18:00 BBC1

Day of the Moon

The Doctor - sporting a huge bushy beard - was stuck in the ultimate prison in 1960s America, but it turned out to be a trick which he'd pulled off with the help of the FBI man Canton.

Meanwhile, Amy finds herself in a strange haunted house occupied by a confused owner. Nothing adds up in the place and then Amy sees a photograph of herself holding a baby. What does this mean? Is it her baby? Why is there a photograph of her at all?

President Richard Nixon makes it clear to the people at NASA that the Doc is on their side. With Neil Armstrong about to be blasted into space, the Doc needs to come up with a way of defeating The Silence first.

He works out that they're controlling humanity through post-hypnotic suggestion and manages to turn the tables on them during the television screening of the moon landing!
