The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe

It's Christmas Eve, 1938. Cycling home, Madge Arwell comes to the aid of an injured Spaceman Angel. He promises to repay her kindness - all she must do is make a wish.

Three years later, Madge escapes war-torn London with her two children for a run-down house in Dorset. Crippled with grief at the news her husband has been lost overseas, Madge vows to give Lily and Cyril the best Christmas ever.

At the house, the Arwells are greeted by a madcap caretaker. It's actually The Doctor, whose Christmas gift leads them to a snowy enchanted forest.

This is the place where Madge will learn how to be braver than she ever thought possible. And where wishes can come true...
