The Girl Who Waited

What begins as an intergalactic sightseeing trip turns into a harrowing adventure. Trapped in a time-stream running much faster than her traveling companions, Amy Pond is left to fight off robots with all-seeing hands threatening to kill her with kindness.

As Rory and the Doctor look helplessly on – with the Time Lord unable to help because a one-day plague could kill him – Amy must survive, alone, for decades.

There’s existential angst galore in a spooky, unsettling story, with Rory forced to choose
between the wife he knows and loves and a bitter, older version of Amy – giving him a rare insight into the dilemmas the Doctor faces on a daily basis. No wonder there’s such sorrow and darkness lurking in the Doctor’s eyes...
