Downton Abbey goes Strictly (VIDEO)
13/12/2011 - 18:17

The Downton Abbey stars have revealed they had to learn to dance for a centre-piece of the two-hour special screening on Christmas Day.
The Servants' Ball features the gentry socialising and dancing with the below-stairs staff and the cast had to undergo training with a choreographer while pretending mid-summer was actually Christmas.
Downton star Phyllis Logan (Mrs Hughes) told whatsontv.co.uk: "We all had to learn a waltz that day - we were knackered... It was really complex and were all dripping with sweat - it was in July!"
