Pc Loughton joins Holby South

Pc Jake Loughton's first day at Holby isn't going as well as he'd hoped - and Lucy is finding it difficult having a new partner so soon after Robert's death. Jake fails to win favour with Lucy when he insists on patronising her, but both of their minds are on the job when they investigate two robbers on a smash-and-grab spree.

Meanwhile, heavily pregnant Jenny joins John's wife, Kate, and Luke's wife, Mandy, on a girls' night out. The girls are surprised when Scott arrives at the bar after what turned out to be a disastrous blind date. When Mandy and Jenny call it a night, Kate finds herself alone with Scott - and agrees to stay for another drink.

Neil feels awkward around Kelly after declaring his love for her. Together for an evening's stake-out, the mood is tense but Neil has no regrets about admitting how he feels. But, when Kelly opens up, Neil is far from prepared for her honesty.

Also, a rowdy hen party is brought into the station - and Pc William Jackson is embarrassed to find that his estranged mother, Linda, is one of the gang.
