There's a sniper on the loose

A string of hoax 999 calls alerts the Holby South team to a lone sniper who's waiting to strike, and DCI Scott Vaughan orders CID to find out who wants them dead. As John races to find out the identity of the sniper, his wife Kate arrives home to find John Snr waiting in the kitchen. And he's not there for tea and a cosy chat...

Back at Holby South, the team is slowly piecing together the evidence in the sniper investigation and the identity of the gunman is eventually revealed. But Jake and Lucy have already responded to a call-out and they head straight into the gunman's lair. Will they make it out alive?

It's not exactly a happy birthday for Kelly, when she's is asked to view CCTV footage of a nightclub robbery. When she spots her husband in a clinch with another woman, Neil ends up providing more than a shoulder to cry on.

Meanwhile, Christian's relationship with Miranda is going strong and she accepts an invitation to Kelly's birthday party. There, she finds a stash of drugs - will a new, improved Miranda go back to her old ways?
