Mark takes on Vanessa!

Tuesday, 23 March 20:00 BBC1

Mark takes on Vanessa!

Mark’s once again miserable after the brief reappearance of his former flame Judith ended in her leaving Holby for good, telling him she couldn’t be second best to his job. Mark begins to realise that hospital life is getting him down, but the discovery of failure by evil CEO Vanessa Lytton soon perks him up...

When Mark realises that nurse Maria’s recent increase in back pain is due to Vanessa ordering her to move some boxes earlier in the week, he finds fire in his belly to fight the system. Taking Maria’s case on as Union Rep, Mark warns Vanessa that he’s going to put together a compensation claim against the poisonous pen pusher and won’t stop until she’s ruined!

After beating Linden to a pulp in last week’s episode, Joseph Byrne is facing the serious consequences of his actions. His marriage to Faye is now well and truly over, and far from feeling guilty about beating up his colleague, Joseph is merely annoyed that he survived the attack. The two warring doctors end up in surgery together working on a patient – can they put their feelings to one side to save their careers?

Meanwhile Connie takes Penny and Oliver under her wing, and discovers which of the sibling hold the real talent.
