Will Ric die?

There’s drama on the wards when head surgeon Ric Griffin collapses on his rounds, and is rushed into surgery. Suffering from cancer of the cecum, Ric’s ongoing health battles have been compounded by his stressful new relationship with rival Michael Spence’s estranged wife, Annalese.
As Ric collapses in agony, Annalese watches him rushed to theatre, but makes a startling demand – that Michael should operate on Ric. Will Ric survive the operation?
Elsewhere, Ollie inadvertently gets Greg into hot water when he admits to Connie that his mentor left him unsupervised. Jac and Sacha forge an unlikely friendship.
