Stephen Fry returns to his Kingdom

Stephen Fry is returning to star in a third series of Norfolk-based ITV1 legal drama, Kingdom.
Filming has just begun for the six-part drama, which follows the fortunes of Stephen Fry’s character, Peter Kingdom, a country solicitor.
Life in Market Shipborough is never dull as Kingdom and his young assistant Lyle Anderson seek to resolve the legal issues the locals bring them. In the new series they deal with the problems of crop circles; try to help a war victim’s bid for compensation; and encounter animal liberationists at work.
Hermione Norris returns to star as Peter’s troublesome and flirty sister Beatrice, who wants to rediscover her sexuality after becoming a mum.
Hermione's former Cold Feet co-star John Thomson, a guest star in the last series, returns as a regular cast member, playing Nigel, a relationship counsellor who is presented with an odd challenge from a group of nuns.
Executive producer Simon Wheeler said: "We're really pleased to be back in Norfolk this summer. There are so many stories for the Kingdom family and beyond that we can't wait to tell!"
