Rebels with causes need Peter's help

Peter Kingdom's planned fishing holiday hits a snag, which is a shame because it becomes clear that he needs a break...

But it's his young associate, Lyle Anderson, who leaves, making a mercy dash to help his mum save her local allotments in Stockport. Once there, though, Lyle finds his mother is struggling with more than the possibility of less gardening time. Since the death of their father, Lyle's twin brothers have become a handful and they're arrested for their efforts to help their mother's cause.

Lyle calls on Peter for help to keep the allotments growing, and Peter discovers that all he needs to win the case is growing on the very land that's being fought for.

Meanwhile, Gloria Millington's son, Scott, is also staging a youthful rebellion, in Market Shipborough. He – and others – are unhappy with the attention they're getting from the town's new CCTV cameras. Scott's initial protest gets him in trouble. When he enlists the help of the whole community, though, the CCTV cameras can't cope with what they see!

Also needing Peter's help is his Aunt Auriel, who wants him to sit in on her interviews for a new housekeeper. As it turns out, the perfect woman for the job is someone Peter already knows – and likes. But, as he celebrates her arrival, Peter collapses...
