Bradley Walsh leads British talent in Law & Order
08/09/2008 - 12:01

Former Coronation Street actor Bradley Walsh is to star in the new ITV1 series Law & Order: UK.
Bradley, who played Danny Baldwin in the ITV1 soap, leads an all-star cast, which includes Dr Who's Freema Agyeman and Cutting It's Ben Daniels, in the British remake of the successful US drama series.
Jamie Bamber from Battlestar Galactica, Harriet Walter and Sea of Soul's actor Bill Paterson have also been lined-up to appear in the new 13-part crime drama for ITV.
ITV Director of Drama, Laura Mackie, says they had put together "the perfect cast to deliver a quintessentially modern British take" on the show.
Created by two-time Emmy award-winner, Dick Wolf, the British version will be produced by Torchwood's Richard Stokes and the people behind Spooks, Jane Featherstone and Andrew Woodhead.
Filming starts this month and the series is due to be shown in 2009.
