Christine nosedives off the wagon

Christine's lonely and looking for love. Sally, meanwhile, has love-related problems of her own. Today should have been her wedding day and she's thrown into a spin when her ex, Michael - who had an affair with her sister - sends her flowers with a card saying he's changed...

To add to Sally's problems Christine has volunteered her for a job swap with Gillen, a boy from the bakery. Christine soon develops an inappropriate crush on young Gillen (Richard Fleeshman). And when his lift to a gig falls through Christine volunteers her services (and car) to help the aspiring singer-songwriter.

Meanwhile the staff have filled out anonymous appraisals of each other. However, in her rush to help Gillen, Christine accidentally emails the critical assessments to the entire company causing the office to descend into chaos in her absence!

At Gillen's gig, Christine tries to kiss the horrified youngster. When he rebuffs her she heads to her office humiliated and proceeds to fall off the wagon in spectacular fashion. Sally finds her in the morning and forces her to face the wrath of her colleagues.

Christine admits she's an alcoholic and manages to clear the bad air in the office. She then throws a staff party where Steve begins to tell Sally his feelings have changed when Alyson outs them as a couple by planting a big public smacker on him in front of everyone! Gutted, Sally calls her ex...
