It's a manic Monday in Leeds
Monday, 13 July 2009 21:00 ITV1

With the recession taking grip of the country the entire head office of Butterworth's, a fictional supermarket chain, is relocated to Leeds in a bid to shake the company up.
Chief Executive Roger Sorsby finds his tenure under threat from the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer Alyson Cartmell. But his PA Jenny is determined to make sure his bumbling back is covered and plans a defence attack.
Sally - PA to trembling alcoholic Christine Frances - is attempting a new start after her broken engagement. On her first night in Leeds she's supposed to meet the other PAs but goes to the wrong pub...
She gets drunk with handsome stranger Steven and takes him home - only to discover the following day he's Alyson's PA and acting like he's never met her - perhaps because she got sick in his shoes the night before!
Things become awkward for a smitten Sally when she accidentally discovers Steven's having a secret affair with his boss. And things get embarrassing later when Alyson overhears the pair discussing their drunken fumble.
Christine, meanwhile, is feeling threatened by Alyson. In her panic to cope she gets plastered and reveals at a meeting Sally's ex left her to be with her sister. Sally loses it, punches Christine and they both get sacked.
Christine, however, has a secret weapon up her booze soaked sleeve - she knows about Roger's murky Uxbridge Holdings deal. She uses it to get them reinstated and promises Sally she'll dry out. But Alyson how has her claws out and is gunning for all their jobs...
