Kelly: 'I can't wait for Tracy's return' VIDEO

Coronation Street's Katherine Kelly said she 'can't wait' to film scenes with Kate Ford when the actress returns to soap later this year.

Kate, 32, will reprise her role as superbitch Tracy Barlow in the spring in a storyline set in prison.

Speaking to whatsontv.co.uk at the National Television Awards, Katherine - who plays Becky Granger in the soap - said: "Becky has not only the man that Tracy loves but she also is looking after Tracy's daughter as well, so it'll be brilliant."

Although Katherine lost out to EastEnders' Lacey Turner for the award for Outstanding Serial Drama Performance, Coronation Street was voted Most Popular Serial Drama while the soap's Craig Gazey was named Most Popular Newcomer.
