Dead man talking?

The gang’s back for series seven of the entertaining drama about a team which investigates unsolved crimes from the past.

Detective Superintendent Sandra Pullman (Amanda Redman) and her old dogs – former detectives Brian Lane, Jack Halford and Gerry Standing (Alun Armstrong, James Bolam and Dennis Waterman) - think they’re being messed about when self-professed psychic Sebastian Carter (Paul Rhys) tells client Vicky Anderson that her dead father is insisting his death wasn’t what it seemed.

Brian, Jack and Gerry aren’t spooked. But they find the burglary wasn’t random – someone was after millions of pounds nicked in a fraud committed by Anderson’s friend John Plummer, who died in prison. Anderson became legal guardian of Plummer’s daughter, Penny – because he had a guilty conscience? And what does Plummer’s former cellmate know? Suddenly psychic Sebastian’s not the only suspicious character involved in this case...
