Primeval follows the adventures of Professor Nick Cutter (played by Douglas Henshall) and his team of scientists as they investigate time anomalies for the British government and battle amazing creatures from the past and future.
Still trying to cope with his guilt over the death of his friend Stephen Hart, Cutter has to rally his team to deal with the extraordinary and deadly creatures emerging from the anomalies into present-day Britain.
