A plague causes chaos

Jess discovers a new anomaly has appeared close by, and tells the ARC team to go and investigate. Arriving at Connor’s lab, Abby, Matt and Emily are shocked to discover that he has managed to create the first ever man-made anomaly.

Without warning, thousands of bugs pour through the anomaly and into the lab. The team escape, but as Abby looks back through the window into the lab, she realises something - a hole has appeared in the reinforced wall. The insects can chew through concrete.

Meanwhile, Jess is bitten by one of the escaped bugs. She’s allergic to insect bites, but doesn’t have her medicine and needs to get to hospital. As Philip has put the ARC into lock down, Connor pleads him to let them out so that Jess can get to hospital. Even with her life in danger, Philip refuses to let them go and risk the city being engulfed by the creatures.

Without any more options, the team head to the panic room in the building. Thankfully the team survive, and afterwards, Connor reveals the shocking fact that now, Philip has the ability to create even larger anomalies.
