Robin rescues Isabella
Saturday, 25 April 2009 18:15 BBC1

As beautiful aristocrat, Isabella, gallops into the forest, hotly pursued by men on horseback, Robin Hood rescues her, but not before she's shown that she's no pushover. Robin is clearly taken by the mysterious woman - but is he right to give her the benefit of the gang's protection?
Elsewhere, Gisborne returns triumphant from the court of Prince John, armed with a troop of elite soldiers and instructions from his new royal master to kill Robin Hood. Gisborne doesn't need the patronage of the Sheriff of Nottingham and reminds him that he's still in Prince John's bad books over unpaid debts.
As Gisborne battles with Robin and his men, Little John becomes separated from the others and soon finds himself going undercover with Bertha of Bath, the promoter of a group of gladiators who are on their way to perform in Nottingham. But has Little John bitten off more than he can chew when he poses as a gladiator?
Later, as Gisborne appears to finally have Robin in his clutches, Isabella reveals that she's his sister and Robin gets away. Incensed with Isabella for fraternising with the enemy, Gisborne heads back to Nottingham Castle to face the Sheriff's wrath...
