Robin wants revenge on Gisborne
Saturday, 28 March 2009 18:50 BBC1

Having disbanded his gang of outlaws, all Robin wants to do is avenge Marian's death and races to Locksley Manor, alone, to confront Guy of Gisborne. A battle ensues between the pair with Gisborne throwing Robin into the river. As Sir Jasper arrives at the castle to declare that Prince John demands 1,000 crowns a month and the body of Robin Hood, at that moment, Gisborne reveals that he has killed Robin.
Meanwhile, travelling monk, Tuck, saves Robin from the river. But when Robin tries to leave, Tuck knocks him out and orders him to rest, saying that Robin Hood is the only hope the people of England have left. As Sir Jasper and the Sheriff hunt for Robin's loot, Much is tortured as he tries to get in their way. Luckily, Little John and Allan are outside the castle and rescue Robin from right under the Sheriff's nose.
But Robin is still hell-bent on revenge - even if it means getting killed in the process. Willing to risk everything for Robin, Tuck comes up with a plan and tells Gisborne that Robin's body is buried at Dead Man's Crossing, while also telling the Outlaws that Robin is alive and wants to meet them at the same place. Tuck secretly watches as the Outlaws are captured by Gisborne... and Robin realises he must save his men.
With the help of Tuck and an eclipse, Robin saves the Outlaws. He then confronts Gisborne - but rather than commit him to death, Robin sends his nemesis to a life in Hell...
