Freida reveals trans-Atlantic conflict with Dev

Freida Pinto has admitted she's torn between living with boyfriend Dev Patel in London and the glamour of New York life.
The couple met starring in the award-winning Slumdog Millionaire and when he's not filming, Dev lives with his parents in Harrow, while Freida told InStyle magazine the only place she can vaguely call home is her TV producer sister's apartment in Mumbai.
But she revealed: "I'm kind of conflicted between London and New York.
"Dev prefers London any day. He's been born and brought up here, he knows people here... But I love the nomad life - it wouldn't make a difference to me, London or New York.
"I love London a lot, it's one of my favourite cities in the world. But I would love to experience New York as well - and I guess now's the time to do it."
The 26-year-old Planet Of The Apes beauty and Skins star Dev both rocketed to fame after Slumdog, and Freida revealed they support each other through the huge change in their lives.
She said: "Definitely. I always say, I don't think there will be anybody who understands it better than him. Not even my family - because they were not with me every step of the way, but he, literally, was. And I was with him."
But she admits she misses him a lot when they are both working, and finds speaking to him on Skype a torment, as they aren't together.
Freida explained: "We use it a lot - and we hate it as well! It's like a tease. I also feel it's this pressure: 'Oh my God, he's seeing me after two weeks, I hope my hair is OK'.
"It's just hideous. I think even the most beautiful person looks stupid on Skype."
