Skins stars in real-life romance

Skins characters Effy and Cook may not have ended up together in the E4 drama - but they are said to be dating in real life.

According to reports in The Sun, Kaya Scodelario, 17, and Jack O'Connell, 18, are now a couple after getting together while filming the racy teen drama.

In the show, Effy and Cook have romped in a school medical room and in a wardrobe - but she eventually dumped him for his mate Freddie, played by Luke Pasqualino.

A show insider has confirmed that the pair are now seeing each in real life.

The source said: "They are a really sweet couple. It took a while for them to get together but while filming such risqué scenes they grew close.

"They are trying to persuade scriptwriters to get their characters back together."

The final episode of the third series of Skins was shown on E4 last Thursday.

But fans shouldn't fret - series four is due to be shown early in 2010.
