Double trouble with twins Emily and Katie

Katie's recovering from having her head bashed in by Effy but the ordeal hasn't altered her bossy attitude. Discontent Emily remains under her sister's manicured thumb - even blacking up her eye and taking her history exam. Her relationship with Naomi's on the rocks and she's sick of keeping her sexuality a secret. Over dinner, Emily comes out to her family but her dad thinks she's joking. But her mum (Ronnie Ancona) takes direct action and secretly warns Naomi off.

With the end of term Love Ball looming, Katie insists they go shopping and a run-in with Freddie proves eventful. Freddie reveals Emily slept with JJ and Katie arranges for them all to go to the ball together. Continuing with her control freakery, catty Katie pretends to be Emily and dupes Naomi into meeting her. She delights in revealing her twin's tumble with JJ and (like mother, like daughter) warns her off Emily.

The double date's a disaster. Naomi shows up, announces she knows about Emily and JJ, and all hell breaks lose. Twisted twin Katie has a momentous fur-flying catfight with ever-so-nice Emily. Thankfully the teachers don't intervene! Emily resists the temptation to punch her sister's lights out and instead comes out to the entire school and declares her love for Naomi. The pair walk off hand-in-hand into the night.

Elsewhere, Pandora and Thomas re-boot their relationship. And Effy's still on the run with Cook...
