With one of their own dead and a new mutant strain of the virus threatening those left after most of humankind has been wiped out, the Family are struggling to survive. The Family gather at the Lab and must get a vaccine but Abby's only concern is to find her son, Peter, glimpsed briefly beyond the confines of the building. They must test the vaccine and Al, believing that he has nothing left to lose, volunteers himself. Whittaker is still putting the Family at risk and deceiving...
