DC Stevie Moss (Lucy Speed) is viciously attacked by evil Jason Devlin in The Bill - and Sergeant Dale 'Smithy' Smith (Alex Walkinshaw) witnesses the entire incident.
Seeing his female colleague in trouble, Smithy sees red and rushes over to launch an attack of his own...
Alex says: "It's quite out of character for him. It's the right thing to do - but the wrong thing for Smithy."
Unlucky for Smithy, Sergeant Stone (Sam Callis) - Smithy's nemesis at Sun Hill - has seen everything. Will Stone force Smithy to own up to what he's done?
