Lucy Speed 'relaxed' about wedding plans

Lucy Speed has revealed she is 'quite laid back' when it comes to her forthcoming wedding.

The 32-year-old Bill actress, who is due to tie the knot with her fiance in early September, says the plans are going well.

She said: "I am quite laid back about it I think, I have kind of just organised something that doesn't really need a lot of organising."

"What will be will be on the day and if it goes wrong it goes wrong. As long as we've got food and drink and friends I am sure we'll be fine," she added.

Lucy, who plays DS Stevie Moss in The Bill, joked that her dad is concerned about her choice of beau, who is a biker.

She said: "I'm the daughter of a mod who can't bear the fact that I am not the fiancee of a greaser or a rocker."

Lucy, who is best known for her previous role as Natalie in EastEnders - admitted she has a penchant for biking too.

"I love the bikes and I love going on the back," she said.

"I had to do half my bike test for a Bill episode last year. I had to know how to ride a bike because I couldn't actually do all of the stunts, but I had to be allowed and qualified to be able to ride the bike in and out of the shot."
