New driver Bobby makes his mark

As the hospital staff come to terms with the loss of Stella and Frankie, Marian suggests that they should all attend Alun's gig as Stella loved a good night out. Meanwhile, new ambulance driver Bobby makes a grand entrance by crashing into Dr Burnett's car - but when Dr Burnett says he can't go to the gig, Bobby agrees to be Marian's date.

Meanwhile, elderly lady Hester is being terrorised by a group of boys on the moors and heads outside with a shotgun to scare them away, but as she fires the gun into the air she falls. One of the boys, David, calls an ambulance for Hester but when Ormerod and Bobby arrive she fires her gun at them to stay away. Overcome with guilt, David promises to tend to Hester's animals while she's in hospital.

Later, pregnant Moira joins the nurses at Alun's gig but gets upset when someone refuses to dance with her and flees to the toilets. When a discarded cigar causes a fire, newly qualified nurse Susie orders everyone to evacuate the building. Chaos ensues when it's discovered the fire exits are locked, and Sister Bridget worries that Moira is nowhere to be found.

Also, Dr Burnett confesses his feelings to Marian, and Alun learns that he has a new boss, Jack Bell, who faints at the sight of blood.
